Meet Eddie

This old dude is the Grandpa of WECare

Eddie was brought to us by our lovely dog catchers, who bring dogs to WECare clinics that need help or assistance in some way. He’s absolutely beautiful and over 10 years old! (I know, we all want to know his secret!) He’s blind and slightly deaf too which isn’t surprising for a pup of his age. His PCV was low when he came to us so we started him on tick fever medication and eye medication.

He’s come to find the clinic home now and guides himself using walls and other sturdy objects which is great as we can see him finally feeling comfortable and more at home. He’s an independent old pup that likes to keep himself to himself whilst sitting back and listening to the youngsters cause mischief. We’ll interrupt his peace to bother him with a pat on the head or a cuddle.

Eddie will stay at the clinic to enjoy his retirement in peace, surrounded by love. Fancy being his virtual pal?
