WHY NOT PUT A TOOTHY SMILE ON THIS DOGS FACE?
Way back in January 2016, Tuts was a tiny little puppy, suffering from severe skin disease, who was discovered and named by our volunteer, Kitty.
Back then we didn’t have the clinic we do now, so she underwent treatment at OG WECarer Malaka’s house, gradually getting fluffier and fluffier as her hair grew back.
We had a few setbacks with calcium deficiency issues, but Tuts was ready for rehoming in a matter of months. (We couldn’t put her back on the streets as she’d been with us since a pup, so would have no idea how to survive.) However, we’ve never been able to find our girl Tuts a home.
The mathematically gifted among you will have clocked that Tuts has been with us almost three years. While we adore all our dogs and give them the love and care they need and deserve, we’re not a shelter.
WECare should be a temporary holiday home before our dogs find forever homes, but Tuts’ shy nature means she never really warms to people who come looking for dogs, as she takes a while to trust new humans. When she does though, she’s as affectionate as they come.
It costs us a loooooooot of money housing healthy dogs, so if you want to become one of Tuts’ sponsors to help us out with her living costs, then holler.
