SPONSOR MAMA DOG
WHY NOT PUT A TOOTHY SMILE ON THIS DOGS FACE?
Mama Dog was a skinny little slip of a thing when she came to us in September 2018. All big dark eyes and nervous energy. Her puppies were super healthy and she was underweight, as she’d given all her energy to her kids. We managed to rehome all the pups, and Mama Dog – well, Mama Dog rehomed herself. She kept following our volunteers back to the volly house and decided she wanted to live there, so she does!
This little blondie is now almost unrecognisable! She gradually put on weight and is now besties with Rosie, another WECare dog who lives at the volly house.
Mama stills walks volunteers to work, playing outside the clinic with other WECare alumni dogs while she waits for vollies to finish their shift. She looks like a totally different dog from the scrawny thing we found and it’s utterly amazing.
